May 03rd, 2008: Bruce Willis in love with lingerie model
Bruce Willis is certainly love-struck, as he could not stop gazing at the latest love of his life, lingerie model Emma Heming. The couple attended the 7th annual Tribeca Film Festival in New York City, and it was quite evident that the sparks were flying from both the sides.

The 29-year-old model was not the latest young thing in tinsel town to fall for the Die Hard star, but even Willis has openly declared that he is crazy about her. The 52-year-old star was attending the premiere of his 19-year-old daughter Rumer's latest movie. "Rumer has been building up her career from cameos in her parent"s films to meatier roles and she clearly wanted to dress to impress on her big night," The Sun quoted a source, as saying. [Source]

April 28th, 2008: Bruce Willis tipped for role in Schu film
American actor Bruce Willis is tipped to play legendary F1 commentator Murray Walker in the Hollywood adaptation of Michael Schumacher's life story.

The British tabloid Daily Star said 53-year-old Willis - famous for starring in Die Hard, Pulp Fiction and The Sixth Sense - would make a "very convincing Walker if he put on a pair of specs".

84-year-old Walker, who semi-retired in 2001, was among Schumacher's biggest admirers, covering from the commentary booth the German's rise to Formula One in 1991 through four of his record seven titles.

"Bruce Willis would certainly do Murray justice," Schumacher's agent, Willi Weber, confirmed. [Source]

April 28th, 2008: Willis to play Murray Walker in F1 biopic?
Bruce Willis is allegedly in line to play Formula One commentator Murray Walker in the upcoming biopic of Michael Schumacher.

Walker commentated on F1 for more than 50 years and became renowned for making ridiculous on-air comments that were dubbed "Walkerisms". He once famously remarked: "With half the race gone, there is half the race still to go."

Willis has reportedly been earmarked for the Walker role by producers of The Michael Schumacher Story.

Schumacher's agent Willi Weber is quoted as saying: "Bruce Willis would certainly do Murray justice."

Walker, 84, admitted he was "shell-shocked" on hearing that Willis might play him on film.

"I had to make sure when looking at the calendar that it was April 25 not April 1," he said. "I always regarded Bruce Willis as a mirror image of myself, don't you know... a much younger version though." [Source]

Die Hard star Bruce Willis being slated to star as Formula One commentator Murray Walker in a biopic Michael Schumacher.

Walker is currently on ITV's Formula One coverage after the BBC lost the rights to screen the motor sport.

Walker said he was "shell-shocked" to hear Willis was going to play him in the film and added: "I had to make sure when looking at the calendar that it was April 25 not April 1."

He also joked: "I always regarded Bruce Willis as a mirror image of myself, don't you know...a much younger version though." [Source]

April 28th, 2008: Bruce Willis to play Murray Walker
Schumi will reportedly play himself in the flick, with Willis poised to reprise the role of high-pitched favourite Walker, who as commentator oversaw the German's seven Formula One world championships.

"A Hollywood producer is interested," Schumacher's agent Willi Weber said.

"It would be called The Michael Schumacher Story, with him as the main actor.

"Bruce Willis would certainly do Murray justice."

Walker, 84, covered motorsport for over half a century before retiring in 2001 after the United States Grand Prix at Indianapolis.

"I had to make sure when looking at the calendar that it was April 25 not April 1," he joked, referring to the moment when he was told of the Willis possibility.

April 13rd, 2008: Six Degrees: Bruce Willis to David Beckham
Middle-aged movie star Bruce Willis and England footballer David Beckham might not seem like they have much in common, but if you poke around you can find a connection between the two through the ever-reliable six degrees of separation.

Digital Spy goes from Bruce to Becks through six degrees of separation.

Bruce Willis to... Amy Winehouse - While making the press rounds for last year's Die Hard 4.0 Bruce was enthusiastic in his admiration for Amy Winehouse. "Amazing. She has a f***ing amazing voice! She's kind of like Janis Joplin, hits a bottle of Jack from time to time," Bruce said. Let's hope his love of Winehouse doesn't prompt him to make a return to the recording studio. His R&B album The Return of Bruno is for die hard (see what we did there!) Willis fans only.

Amy Winehouse to... Leona Lewis - As two of the few British female solo acts to break America, Amy Winehouse and Leona Lewis share a lot in common. They are also linked by their status as BRIT school alumni. The prestigious school is a home for aspiring pop acts and musical stars that has seen countless famous faces pass through its doors. Leona, however, will hope to stay on the straight and narrow after seeing Amy's recording career stall due to her numerous addictions.

April 10th, 2008: Some New Yorkers Protest 'Yuppie' Willis
New York neighbors of Bruce Willis' new wine bar are roasting a pig named after the actor, to protest the "yuppie" take-over of the city's downtown neighborhoods.

Willis is the joint owner of the Bowery Wine Company, which opened in Manhattan's East Village last month.

The venue is described as "upscale and loungy," but locals aren't impressed with Willis' presence in the arty neighborhood.

Activist John Penley, who is planning a protest in August, tells the New York Post, "We're getting a pig and we're naming it Bruce."

The pig will be roasted while folk singer David Peel performs his anthem, "Die Yuppie Scum!" [Source]

April 10th, 2008: Bruce Willis starrer 'Surrogates' adds cast
Ving Rhames, Radha Mitchell and Rosamund Pike have joined Bruce Willis in the sci-fi thriller "The Surrogates" for Disney.

Jonathan Mostow is directing the film based on the graphic novel by Robert Venditti and artist Brett Weldele of Top Shelf Comix. Michael Ferris and John Brancato -- the writing duo that last teamed with Mostow on "Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines" -- penned the script. Mandeville Film's David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman are producing along with Max Handelman and Elizabeth Banks.

Ned Vaughn ("Frost/Nixon") was also previously cast in the film, which is set in the future where humans live risk-free lives through robot surrogates that are eternally young, perfect-looking versions of themselves.

Rhames plays a charismatic cult figure who disdains the use of surrogates and tries to lead an uprising against the "new world order."

Mitchell plays the professional partner of Willis' character, a cop that through his surrogate investigates the murders of others' surrogates.

Pike plays his wife.

Production is set to begin in late April on the film, which will be released through Touchstone.

Rhames, who recently wrapped production on Paramount Vantage's "The Goods: The Don Ready Story" and will appear in the upcoming "The Gift," is repped by Innovative Artists.

Mitchell, repped by CAA, manager Rick Ax and attorney Doug Stone, will appear in the upcoming "Henry Poole Is Here" and "The Children of Huang Shi."

Pike just wrapped production on "An Education" and will appear in the upcoming "Fugitive Pieces." She is repped by Endeavor and Magnolia Entertainment. [Source]
